Tall Tabby

This standard build is based around a newer Kinlin wide clincher rim. Being 28mm deep and 23mm wide, offers some aerodynamic benefit to help it slice through the wind along with the stable and cushy feel that wide rims have to offer. They're slightly stiffer than the shallower rims due to their added depth, but aren't so much heavier that you'll feel like that pre-race BLT was a bad choice.

These rims are mated to a lightweight, and user-serviceable, set of hubs by either double-butted round spokes or bladed spokes to further the aerodynamic benefit. Tough enough for training, light enough for racing.

The standard build for the Tall Tabby is approximately 1460-1500 grams for a 20 spoke front wheel and 24 spoke rear wheel. (the range accounts for variations in the manufacturing proccess of the individual components, though they tend to build up on the lower end of that range). They are $380 with round spokes or $450 with bladed spokes.

Ask about the Garfield build for a more "robust" set of wheels.
